SSRT Summer/Fall 2025
studio s Running Team (SSRT) 2025 season is here! For over a decade we’ve coached half and full marathoners to success on race day and we can’t wait to continue that tradition this summer.
Run with us as we conquer Cincinnati’s hills, educate on effective/ sustainable training practices and toast with coffee post-long runs. Training is available for both the half and full marathon distances. Our target races will be The Queen Bee Half and Columbus Marathon but our coaching calendar can be adapted for any late fall 26.2 or 13.1 race.
Though running is often thought of as an individual sport, we’ll help you feel part of a team and provide coaching that will take you levels deeper with the sport. Whether you are a seasoned marathoner or first-time runner, you are welcome on our team.
We pride ourselves on a small atmosphere that allows runners continual personal contact with SSRT coaches and contributes to a unique team camaraderie. Stride along with us for a fun, challenging and memorable season.

What’s included?
17-week periodized training calendar
We provide two separate mileage calendars with options for beginner/intermediate & advanced for both the FULL and HALF Marathons.
Not sure which calendar is right for you? Our coaches will review your running history with you and help select the appropriate distance and level. Our program can also be used to train for other fall full & half marathons, though coaching will be primarily geared toward Queen Bee & Columbus races.

Pre-season coaching
When registering early, we’ll send out some guidelines that will help you start the season ready to build your mileage in a sustainable manner.
Weekly coaching email
Every week we’ll send an email with detailed coaching tips, strategy for each phase of training and review what happened the week before–in case you have to miss a practice.SSRT swag item

In-studio recovery classes

What’s unique about this group?
On any given Saturday morning in Cincinnati, we love to see so many runners out training. However, if a giant mass of pace groups isn’t for you, you’ve found your team. We pride ourselves on a more intimate team size that ensures contact/ feedback from your coaches.
We also pride ourselves on our unique coaching philosophy by taking physiological cues from your own body to track and improve your miles/pace--instead of assigning a random pace time that may or may not be sustainable for a whole season. We use heart rate (in addition to time splits, pace targets, mileage goals) to measure improvement. We want our runners to see progress in a single season but also year over year. This takes the guesswork out of the process and lets your body lead the way. Our methods will also help keep you injury-free.
SSRT is coached and was created by trainers in the fitness field. This isn’t our side business, method to selling more shoes, or our hobby--this is our profession. We work every day in the studio to help individuals build strength, become better movers, stay injury-free and recover from setbacks. We know running isn’t just about logging the miles but, also, about everything you do in between.
